Adrian Peterson Workout Program

Yesterday I read the article on Adrian Peterson's workout routine in this month's Muscle & Fitness. AD's story is great one of growing up with no money, his brother dying when he was 9, his other brother dying hours before he ran his 4.40 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine, and his dad being in jail for 10 years. Talk about adversity.

If you have been through all of Adrian Peterson has been through, you must have a desire inside to be the best. Adrian does. He loves to train and want to be the best. According to the article, his strength coaches say he the one everyone else looks to. He is a leader. He leads by his work ethic. Lessons we all can learn from.

He talked in the story about training when he was young. Speed training by performing sprints with a tire dragging behind him, squatting with a pipe with a water jug attached to each end, running and doing lunges up and down the biggest hill he could find.

This shows you that if you want it bad enough you will find a way to make yourself the best.

I have a similar outlook with the athletes I train. I put everything I have into making them the best they can be. When I created the Combine Freak DVD I wanted it to be the best combine preparation DVD on the market. I wanted to provide you everything I know and hold nothing back.
